Mrs. Stefanie Gazich, ARCHES Administrator
Stefanie Gazich is the mother of six children and the grandmother of ten. She and her family are members of Epiphany Catholic Church in Coon Rapids, MN. She home educated for twenty-two years. She is a graduate of Ohio University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. She did field reporting for an ABC affiliate in Charlotte, N.C. and was offered a writing position for CNN in Atlanta, Georgia. Stefanie believes strong grammar skills polish and enhance one's ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Stefanie has been a tutor with ARCHES for 18 years and loves teaching by engaging students in memorization, recitation, spelling, diagramming, and formation of strong sentence structure. In Pre-Algebra, students participate by working problems at their desk and on the board thus engaging them in the learning process. Students especially learn how to create equations from clue words within the word problem helping them overcome their fears and anxieties over solving them. Stefanie currently works part-time at St. Pius X in White Bear Lake as the Coordinator for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She cherishes the truths of the Catholic church and is passionate in helping children discover its treasures.

Mrs. Debra Sivula
Debra Sivula is happily married to her husband, Joel, a mother of six children, grandmother of twenty-four and a mother-in-law to four. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Her first career from 1979 to 1985 was being an oncology nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Minneapolis and the University Hospital at the University of Minnesota. She retired in 1985 to stay home and educate her children. She is a member of the Church of Saint Paul in Ham Lake. She loves science and would like to pass her knowledge on to others.

Basia Zebro is the mother of seven children and the grandmother of thirteen. She and her family are members of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Oak Grove, MN. Basia home educated her children for 23 years graduating her youngest child in 2017. She graduated from Russell Sage College in Albany, New York, with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in Math. Basia has been a tutor for ARCHES for the last 10 years. For nearly 15 years, Basia volunteered for the Home Education Ministry at Church of St. Paul instructing 7-9th graders ballroom and line dancing. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy polka, ballroom and swing dancing.

Mr. Steve Stolz
Steve Stolz is married and the father of five children and grandfather of four. He has volunteered heavily with youth at his church since 2009. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (Madison), where he received his Bachelor of Science in Joint Astronomy Physics and Masters of Science in Computer Science. After working for Hewlett-Packard for 12 years and a startup company, he and two friends started their own software business after 9/11. That business grew to over 30 employees and was split into two businesses, both of which were eventually sold. He is now happily retired. Steve also worked as an EMT for 10 years for the cities of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale. In addition to teaching, he especially likes playing board games with his wife, competing in triathlons both locally and nationwide, and teaching youth how to barefoot waterski.

Mr. Doug Latawiec
Doug Latawiec graduated Xi Sigma Pi from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Products Marketing. Doug has many years of volunteer teaching experience including eight years at the Minneapolis Catholic Youth Center and over fourteen years as a religious education teacher. He is a home-schooling father of fourteen children and is currently planning his twenty-third-year tutoring Literature I and II for ARCHES. He is the athletic director and basketball coach of Victory Christian Home School Association serving home school boys and girls from junior high to varsity teams.

Mrs. Laura Klimisch
Laura Klimisch graduated at the University of Texas in Arlington in 1989 as a Registered Nurse working in intensive care, medical-surgical, and coronary care units.
In 1997, Laura left her job to stay home to raise her family and homeschool. Laura and her husband Kevin have been married for thirty-two years and have nine children and four grandchildren. Educating their children for over twenty-seven years, their family has incorporated ARCHES classes in the upper grades for all of their children. Instilling a love and passion of great classical literature throughout the years gives Laura the desire and creativity to reveal to the students the hidden treasures within the many books in American and British Letters. Members at the Church of St. Paul in Ham Lake, Laura has taught Family Formation classes, HEM, youth, and confirmation classes for many years! Her Catholic faith and family are her greatest treasures! Laura enjoys the outdoors, boating, and hosting family gatherings! Recently, she has started a part-time business doing foot care for elderly patients in their homes.

Ms. Lucy Latawiec
Lucy is a recent graduate from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio where she earned a B.A. degree in Biology. She is not only an alumnus of ARCHES, but also a past volunteer where she assisted in tutoring the labs for Physical Science. Lucy worked as a Medical Assistant for Aalfa Family Clinic as well as working in geriatrics where she cared for the elderly. Her missionary heart leads her into various volunteer positions working with the homeless and pro-life movement. Lucy continues to pursue a career path in medicine as she seeks to become a Physician Assistant. Biology
Mrs. Cindy Goldade
Cindy Goldade is a homeschool mom of three. Her oldest is teaching Agriculture in Royalton, MN. Her middle kiddo lives on a horse farm in Stacy, as a farrier and horse trainer—Rolling G Equine. The youngest is attending PSEO at M-State pursuing an associate in business. Cindy and her husband own Direct Bore, Inc, an underground construction company. Cindy has a bachelor’s in education with her master’s degree in Montessori education. She currently teaches at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She is also an international Brain Gym® faculty and is passionate about helping individuals more deeply understand their unique learning styles as well as teaching them strategies to reach their goals. She presents on the brain, learning styles, and movement-based learning throughout Minnesota, as well as internationally. Her family is active at the Church of St. Paul in Ham Lake as well as very involved in 4-H at the county and state level. Cindy is excited to share her educational experiences as an employee, employer, adjunct faculty, independent contractor, lifelong learner, etc. Her courses are interactive and collaborative opportunities for self-growth.

Mr. Sean Pilcher
Magister Sean Pilcher, a native of Iowa, began his study of Latin at a young age. During various extended stays on the continent, he became fluent in several modern languages and fell in love with the city of Rome. His Latin study continued at Saint Louis University where he began his work as a translator. His recently-completed translation of the Tabula Libri Ethicorum (Aquinas Institute, forthcoming) is the first in any language of the Angelic Doctor’s concordance of the Nicomachean Ethics. He also works to prepare and authenticate sacred relics for an international relic apostolate. His approach to living Latin is informed by his mentor Fr Reginaldus Foster, OCD. He currently teaches Latin to all ages in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he lives with his lovely wife, and online to priests and religious at the Veterum Sapientia Institute.

Mrs. Meghan Jones
Meghan Jones is a homeschool mother of six. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Dallas with an emphasis in Printmaking. Although she has spent the last 30 years raising and teaching her children at home, art has played a major role in her daily life. Meghan combines her creative side with her faith by dabbling in stained glass, mosaics and iconography. She loves art history! Over the years she ventured into the world of graphic design and now works regularly with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design. Teaching Drawing gives her a chance to create by turning off the computer and picking up some good old-fashioned pencils and paper!
